Privacy — Forge & Vow

This explains what happens to your information when you order a band or send a message. The short version: it's used to make and send your order and to reply to you, and nothing else.

Who's responsible

This shop is run by Alexandre Willaerts, based in United Kingdom. You can reach me at smartutilitysupply@gmail.com about anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your data.

What I collect, and why

Your order details — name, email, postal address and what you ordered — so I can confirm your size, make the band and post it to you.
Messages you send me — kept so I can reply and keep track of what we agreed.

Paying by card, your card details go straight to Stripe, who handle the payment. They are never typed into this site and I never see or store your card number.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your basket is kept in your own browser (local storage) so it survives a refresh; that never leaves your device. There are no third-party trackers.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to complete your order: Stripe (card payment), my email provider, and the postal or courier service that delivers your band. I don't sell or share your information with anyone else.

How long it's kept

Order and payment records are kept as long as the law requires (in the UK, that's generally six years, for tax). Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted once they're no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (where I'm not required to keep it). If you think I've mishandled your data, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the ICO.
