The plain terms for buying a band. Placing an order means you're happy with these.

Who you're buying from

This shop and the bands are made and sold by Alexandre Willaerts, 422 Chaussée de Waterloo, 1050 Brussels, Belgium.

The bands

Every band is pure silver, made to order by hand. Because each one is forged and finished individually, no two are identical and yours won't look exactly like the photographs — that's the nature of hand-made work, not a fault. The photographs show real bands I've made.

Prices

Prices run from £150 to £250 depending on ring size and band width, and can be shown in £, $ or € (switch at the top of any page — you're charged in the currency you choose). Delivery is £25 by regular mail or £55 recorded, signed-for, and every band comes in a ring pouch. The price shown when you order is the price you pay.

How an order works

When you send an order or pay by card, that's your offer to buy. The order becomes final once I confirm it — I'll check your size first, and if anything looks off I'll come back to you before starting. If I can't fulfil an order I refund it in full.

Payment

By card through Stripe's secure checkout, or by arrangement over email. No card details are entered on or stored by this site.

Cancelling, and your rights

You can cancel for a full refund within 4 days of ordering, before I start work. After that each band is made to your specification, so it's a bespoke item and exempt from the usual 14-day right to cancel — see the returns policy. Bands are hand-made and carry the small marks of that (a join line, light tool marks), which are character rather than faults. None of this affects your rights if a band is genuinely faulty or not as described: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 it must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
